TEAM PARENT
This position is intended to assist the team coach(es) with all non-coaching aspects of the team.
Duties & Responsibilities
Meet with the coach(es) prior to the soccer season to understand what they will be needing
assistance with.
Help organize the season kick-off meeting between the team staff and the
parents.
Distribute written materials to players & parents such as, game schedule, practice schedule, picture day envelopes, snack
schedule and league related information.
Assist Coach(es) with communication to players & parents of any change in game or practice schedules. This will be in the
form of phone calls or handouts.
Inspect players for proper uniform, and the removal of all jewelry & hard hair accessories prior
to all games.
Sit with team during the games as a Chaperone of non-playing
players.
Organize a schedule of parents to bring post game snacks such as orange slices, other fruit, popsicles, fruit drinks, baked
goods, etc . . .
Make reminder phone calls to parents responsible for post game snack two days prior
to game.

Field Worker
This position is needed to assist in preparing the soccer fields prior to play, and to assist in tear down of goals etc. after the
last game is completed.
Duties & Responsibilities
- With the guidance of the Fields Coordinator, the Field Workers will measure, layout, and mark the various size
soccer fields
- The Fields Workers will assist in assembling the temporary goals, installing the nets on the permanent goals, and
placing the corner flags.
- Upon game completion the, Fields Workers will assist in the breakdown of goals, and the gathering of all cones,
nets, corner flags, etc. for storage in the equipment building
- This position is intended for several individuals, as the time commitment is both early in the 'soccer day' and also after
all games are completed. Time commitment is less than an hour (one week or several weeks), either before or after
the games.
